Eligibility Requirements for the N3TC Bursary

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Must reside in one of the designated municipalities along the N3 Toll Route corridor: Free State (Mafube, Maluti-a-Phofung, Phumelela), Gauteng (Lesedi), KwaZulu-Natal (Alfred Duma, iNkosi Langalibalele, Mpofana, Okhahlamba, uMngeni), Mpumalanga (Dipaleseng)
  • Must have completed Matric
  • Must be studying or intend to study full-time toward an undergraduate degree in one of the listed fields
  • Must be entering 3rd, 4th or Honours year in 2025
  • Must study at a recognised/accredited university in South Africa
  • Must have a strong academic record (minimum average 60%)
  • Must show financial need
  • No outstanding student fees (all prior fees paid up)
