PROXA is a water treatment company that designs, builds and runs plants for industrial clients. Its own website lists desalination, effluent treatment, clean water and aftermarket services, and it works for food and beverage producers, mines and mineral processors, power stations, petrochemical and oil and gas operators, steelmakers and municipalities. PROXA runs offices in South Africa, Australia, Europe and the Middle East.
No bursary advert on PROXA’s own website
When we checked on 2 October 2026, the PROXA website had no careers section, no student page and no bursary advert. PROXA has not published a 2027 bursary round, a closing date or an application address that we could verify.
Adverts for a PROXA bursary in Chemical and Mechanical Engineering circulated on bursary listing sites in 2025. We could not trace those adverts back to PROXA itself, so this page does not repeat their requirements, dates or email address. Treat any such listing as unconfirmed until PROXA publishes the details on its own site.
What PROXA says about training and young people
PROXA’s sustainability page says the company runs training programmes for its own staff and for clients, and that its social responsibility work aims at uplifting and empowering the youth. The page does not mention bursaries or student funding.

- Look for the advert on proxawater.com or on PROXA’s own social media accounts, not only on a listing site.
- Check that any email address ends in PROXA’s own domain before you send your ID, results or proof of income.
- If in doubt, use the contact details on the PROXA website to ask whether a bursary round is running.
