The Africa Cosmos Education Trust (AC ED Trust) belongs to Africa Cosmos, a South African training company that runs short courses and skills programmes. Africa Cosmos set up the trust to help talented young South Africans whose money or social circumstances block them from higher education.
What the trust says it pays for
According to the trust’s page on the Africa Cosmos website, its bursaries and scholarships cover tuition, accommodation and essential study costs. The trust also lists mentorship, life-skills and leadership training, and career-readiness support among its aims, and says it has already funded many young South Africans.
No open call, fields or deadline on record
As of October 2026 the Africa Cosmos Education Trust has not published an application call for 2027. Its page gives no entry requirements, list of study fields, application form or closing date. Lists of fields, ages and deadlines that circulate on bursary websites come from older adverts we could not confirm with Africa Cosmos, so we have left them out rather than repeat details that may no longer apply.
Asking Africa Cosmos directly
The trust’s page invites students to leave their details through the contact page on the Africa Cosmos website so that a consultant can get back to them. If you use it, ask plainly whether the Education Trust is taking bursary applications for 2027 and, if so, where to find the official advert. Don’t pay anyone who offers to “process” an Africa Cosmos bursary application for you.
