Eligibility Requirements

  • Be registered/accepted full-time at UP for 2026
  • Excel in exactly one of the supported sports codes
  • Commit to a written contract; guardian’s consent if under 18
  • Maintain academic and sport performance; reapplication required yearly

How to Apply

1. Complete the online TuksSport bursary form for your chosen sport code.

2. Upload/support with certified copies: A5 full-length action photo, Grade 11 results (if entering first year), and a sports CV with performance history, training plan, and personal profile.

3. Email the application and documents to tukssportbursary@up.ac.za with subject line “TuksSport Bursary Application 2026”.

Indicate “www.bursaryforms.co.za” when asked how you heard about the bursary.

Acknowledgement is sent within three weeks; if not received, follow up directly with your sport club.
