It does not cover outstanding past fees, registration fees, practical training, accommodation, travel, allowances, or prescribed books.
Eligibility Requirements for the SANA Bursary
Think you have got what it takes? Here is what was required for 2025:
- South African citizen
- Completed Matric (Grade 12)
- Studying, or intending to study, a qualification in Horticulture or Landscaping at a recognised/accredited tertiary institution in South Africa.
- Preferably at undergraduate level; postgraduate (Masters, PhD, BTech) considered case-by-case.
- Must have completed all modules of first academic year of study.
- Minimum overall average of about 60% for each subject in most recent results.
- Registered for 2025 studies with proof of registration on official letterhead.
- Must be or must become a SANA student member (membership is free).
