Eligibility Requirements for the AIMS Google DeepMind Scholarship
Think you have got what it takes? Here is what was required for the 2025 intake:
- Must be a citizen of any African country
- Must reside in Africa at the time of application
- Must have completed a 4-year undergraduate degree, or a 3-year degree plus an Honours year by August 2025 (for southern African applicants, December 2025 is acceptable)
- Must be enrolling for a Master’s degree programme in Mathematical Sciences or related field with a computational & mathematical component
- Must not have previously held an AIMS scholarship
- Passion for AI, Mathematics, Machine Learning and related research; good academic record
