Eligibility Requirements for the AWF Bursary

Here’s what you need to qualify:

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Under 30 years old
  • Pursuing studies full-time: either a Master’s degree or a vocational certificate (first time for that qualification level)
  • Enrolled (or accepted) at one of the approved institutions: UCT, UWC, or Northlink College (for the specified programmes)
  • Prove financial need (household income etc.)

Also, being clean in your documentation (certified copies, academic record, etc.) and early submission are important. AWF will not accept late or incomplete applications.
