Eligibility Requirements for the Tomorrow Trust Bursary
Think you have got what it takes? Here is what you need to qualify for this game-changing opportunity:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must have completed Matric or be currently in Matric (for Undergraduate applicants)
- Must be studying or intend to study in one of the eligible fields listed
- Must be enrolled at or accepted into a recognised and accredited public university (e.g., Stellenbosch University, University of Cape Town, University of Johannesburg, University of the Witwatersrand, University of Pretoria, Rhodes University)
- Must be between 18 and 30 years old (Undergraduate) or 18 and 35 years old (Postgraduate)
- Must have achieved a minimum overall average of 60% in the most recent exams (mid-year or June) for Undergraduate applicants, or 60% for Undergraduate degree and Matric Mathematics for Postgraduate applicants
- Must meet the entrance requirements for the chosen course
- Must have a total household income of less than R650,000 per annum (Undergraduate) or R600,000 per annum (Postgraduate)
- Preference given to students as defined by the BBBEE Act
