Eligibility Requirements for the SABS Bursary
Think you have got what it takes? Here is what you needed to qualify for 2025:
- South African citizen
- Under 25 years old
- Have completed Matric
- Currently studying or planning to study full-time in one of the eligible fields at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in SA
- Minimum average of 65% in most recent academic results (Matric or tertiary)
- Must demonstrate financial need
- Preference for students with disabilities and those who meet affirmative action policies
- Required supporting documents such as certified ID, proof of income, academic record, acceptance or registration letter, etc.
