Eligibility Requirements for the Bryan Montgomery Bursary
Here is what you needed to qualify for the 2025 opportunity:
- South African citizen, permanently residing in South Africa
- Between 18 and 25 years old
- Must have completed Matric or an equivalent qualification
- Currently enrolled (or accepted) in a culinary training programme of at least 12 months duration, at an SA Chefs Skills Development Provider member institution
- Intend to pursue a career in professional cookery
- Must be or become a paid member of SA Chefs once enrolled at the culinary school
- Agree to participate in PR activities for SA Chefs and its sponsors if selected
