Aurora Wind Power contributes clean energy and community upliftment through its post‑commissioning development fund. Administered by StudyTrust since 2025, the bursary fosters local youth advancement via education in any field of study.
Fields Covered
The bursary supports any 3‑ or 4‑year undergraduate degree at SA public universities or accredited TVETs—no study field restrictions.
Expenses Covered
Funding is tailored to individual need and may include:
- Tuition, registration & exam fees
- On‑campus or equivalent accommodation
- Meals and monthly stipend
- Textbooks & stationery
- Travel costs, where applicable
Total value is need‑based, up to about R100,000 per annum.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be South African citizens
- Reside on the West Coast of the Western Cape
- Be in Grade 12 or have completed Matric
- Plan to study a 3/4‑year degree at a public institution
- Show academic excellence in Grade 12 results
- Have a household income ≤ R350,000 per annum

- Matric mid‑year/final results or certificate
- Latest academic transcript (if already studying)
- Proof of acceptance or application to a public institution
