This programme also includes mentorship, career readiness, and bridging support.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • South African citizen
  • Currently in Grade 12 or in 1st year of tertiary studies in 2025
  • Matric with ≥70% in Maths and English FAL (or ≥65% English HL), and ≥60% average in all other subjects
  • Tertiary students: ≥60% semester average, and ≥60% in each subject if in STEM
  • Accepted or registered for a full-time qualifying degree at a public university
  • Demonstrate financial need and academic potential
  • Actuarial Science first-year restriction applies, except UCT Business Science students.
