About the Bursary Provider
Bakwena Platinum Corridor Concessionaire (Pty) Ltd is responsible for constructing, upgrading, and maintaining over 385 km of the N1 and N4 highways across North West and Limpopo. The organisation supports community upliftment through bursary and learnership programmes targeted at youth living close to its transport routes.
Fields Covered
This bursary supports undergraduate studies in any field, with preference given to students residing within 6 km of the Bakwena N1/N4 corridor.
Expenses Covered
The bursary will cover:
- Partial tuition fees (up to R35 000 per year, paid directly to the institution)
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum entry criteria:
- South African citizen
- Enrolled full-time in undergraduate studies (2nd year or higher) at an accredited SA university
- Minimum overall average of 60% at university
- Preferably residing within 6 km of the N1 or N4 Bakwena corridor
